Um... just actually watched it back on Youtube... ya this is awesome, lol. I love it- its just so me, so let me know if ya'll do :)

Sooooo, video blogging!!! woo hooo!!! I had a couple requests for it, and I thought it might be fun, so hey, lets give it a shot. I won't do everything like this, bc well, I just won't, lol. There are some things I'm not going to be talking about while being recorded on camera, lol, but it was fun, and I hope you like it.

Plus! You don't have to download anything! I know ya'll, you love me, you really really do ;).

So this post is about posts, randomness, vlogbrothers, sf&r and mostly Elvis and Blue Hawaii. :)

What is your favorite spanking scene in a movie?

  1. I don't think it qualifies as a spanking scene, exactly, but one of my earliest exposures to D/s and S&M was the movie 9 1/2 Weeks. The movie doesn't show much explicitly, but there are some fun moments, like a fellow picking up a riding crop and smacking his girlfriend's ass with it in public.

  2. The vagina at Christmas? At first I thought that was a reference to the Vicar of Dibley, where it turns into a production number.

I think you should do a spanking video for us sometime wearing Spanx. You can do it! You're such a good girl.

  3. Hey Kelley! Wonderful first Video Blog Post! That Elvis scene is a complete classic too! Here is the link to the clip for your readers, in case there is a small chance someone has never seen it.

  5. Hi Kelley,

I've never commented on a blog before. In fact, I don't really read or watch video posts on blogs that often.

Yet, I stumbled across your blog and just watched a few videos of your ramblings. You are refreshing.

Like you, I have been interested in spanking my entire life. What a strange, wonderful, scary, and weird trip that has been.

I remember feeling shame and confusion about it in my later teenage years. Honestly, I still feel the weight of shame and of feeling different about it now. I think that is why I like the straight forward - no apologies - way you talk about it here.

I had seen Blue Hawaii on lists of "spanking movie scenes" on the internet in my early 20's (though, back then I had limited access to the internet...that beast was in full swing, but still in the "dial up" stages.)

I was working in a retail store that sold movies and the old "Elvis" movies were being re-released on VHS. I bought "Blue Hawaii" immediately.

You are right about the scene. Elvis pulls the young lady over his knee in her wet dress and spanks her because he cares about her and wants her to KNOW that someone cares. A great scene for all the right reasons.

I haven't seen the movie in years, but does not the next scene show her sitting down on a pillow for dinner?

Mclintock? I agree with you. The coal shovel used is a bit extreme. Even during the first spanking John Wayne hands the young suitor a shovel to spank his love interest with. Sure, I enjoy the scenes, but the whole "metal shovel" thing has never sat right with me.

Still, we have to remember the time period that the movie was made. The movie was a comedy and such movies back then tended to be "larger than life."

I am sure you have seen it, but old John Wayne gives a playful spanking to his love interest at the end of "Donavan's Reef." It's a very short scene, but funny and enjoyable.

Honestly, knowing about the spanking scenes in the John Wayne movies exposed me to all of his westerns. I love westerns. "Rio Bravo" and "El Dorado" are a couple of my all time favorites. Mclintock is actually a pretty good movie as well, besides the ridiculous spanking scenes.

Now I feel as though I am rambling instead of you. Still, your rambling posts are interesting and honest. Keep it up. I envy your courage and dedication.

    Sincerely,

    Jon - little_jon76@yahoo.com
